Hey hey! Great news on the adoption front...we've been approved by DCFS, so we're on the way! The next step is getting our home study done, and to that end, I am just now taking a break from scraping the "texture" off the ceiling in the nursery...it's not the greatest job I've ever had, but I get to rip down paneling next, so I'm muddling through. We've also been working on our profile - gathering pictures and editing our Dear Birthmother letter. Thanks to Annisa and Monica for the editing assistance...we really appreciate your help! As soon as we're done with the nursery, we'll be scheduling our home visit...at long last. Our new counselor seems a little stricter than oour previous counselors, so we have to have all eyes dotted and tees crossed. Hope all is well with all of you, I hope to post more updates soon!
